If you are a lover of Christmas, musicals, or Bing Crosby, you know exactly what that is from and you are singing along right now. 

My little sister, who is actually a bit taller than me now, is growing up and entering her senior year of high school. It has been so fun to watch her become her own person over the years. I like to think of myself as a mentor, having a positive and influential impact on her life. Yes, that's what I like to think. Even though I carried her around all through the first few years of her life making it impossible for her to learn how to walk. Don't worry, she walks just fine now. Soon she will be off to college and selfishly, I would like her to come over to the west side so I can continue to take care of her. Although, if she chooses California then both my siblings will be down there, and that just means more sun and Disneyland for me and Trevor! 

 She is now one of my best friends. We share a love of laughing, shopping, and cupcakes!

Our June

It has been a crazy, busy and fun summer so far. We have taken advantage of each and every sunny day that we are so lucky to get here in the Pacific Northwest. There have been about 2. So we have traveled to Yakima and Leavenworth to visit friends and get a little more sun.

I finished school at the beginning of June and have been taking a few summer classes. Trevor is doing well at work....but that is the boring stuff. We have been playing a lot too. We have spent a lot more time with friends, family and babies!

So here are the long awaited photos of our downtown loft apartment. I know most of you don't care anymore, so this is really just for me to be able to look back on when I am living in a real grown up house.

But for now, this is our home...

I should be writing my classroom management plan right now, but this is me honoring my commitment to this blog and to you, my fans.

And I know you won't tell my professors. 

Trevor and I had a wonderful memorial weekend on the other side of the mountains with my family.

Whenever we visit my family, we can always count on a lot of laughter and a lot of eating. For some reason food just tastes better with my family. 

Making things like this, helps too.

I'm still here...

Starting grad school has proven to be detrimental to my poor blog. 

I have wanted to post pictures of our new place for a while, but it doesn't ever seem to be clean enough for me to get out the camera...I blame it on school. For the next year, I will continue to blame many of my short comings on school. 

I should also say that I am loving it. It is extremely challenging, but I know that this is where I am supposed to be. I have already spent some time in schools, and I can't get enough of the kids! I am teaching health to a bunch of 6th graders next week...wish me luck.

I will finish, for the summer, in 3 weeks and find out where my fall placement will be for student teaching. I can't wait! 

Trevor is doing really well and liking his job. He had his first trial in April (he won of course!), and they just keep comin'. He tells me it isn't like the movies but that is how I choose to picture it. He has been working really hard and I am so proud of him.

For those of you patient enough to keep checking my blog, hoping this day will be the day it is updated, Thank you for your loyalty! I will do my best to keep it updated. 

We do lead such exciting lives. 

new year, new job, new town

Big Changes for the Osbornes. Whirlwind doesn't even begin to describe how our 2011 has started. First big change: Trevor got a new job! He will be working in the Attorney General's Office as an Assistant Attorney General in juvenile litigation. He is very excited and I am very proud of him. I got a new job too...I'm going to be the extra hard working wife/homemaker/nester-extraordinaire! Nice title huh?! I quit my job and will have a little over a month off to finish up a couple classes and move before I start school in March, when my title will officially change to grad student. This brings me to big change number 2: We are moving to Tacoma...good old T-Town! The AG's office is in Olympia and I will be going to school at Seattle U...so we are settling in the middle. Our new place is downtown in a very cool old building above fun restaurants and coffee shops...very urban and eclectic. (I can't wait to post pictures!)

So for the next few days we will be living in box city as we pack up our life for the last year and a half and try to throw away all of the junk we don't need!

We are up for the challenges, ready for a new adventure, and inspired by my good friend, Dr. Seuss...
