Last Saturday Jack and Melinda took us up to the mountain for a day of skiing. I hadn't been skiing since I was probably about 17, while Trevor hadn't been since age 12 when he decided to snowboard instead. Let's just say I was a bit...rusty. I thought we might be on even playing fields having both been out of practice. But, once again, Trevor proved who the natural athlete is between us. Trevor flew down the mountain, moving side to side, looking completely effortless. His turns were sharp, his kness were tight.. I, on the other hand, was a different story. All I could focus on was staying up right on my skis...forget worrying about my form. I barreled down the mountain on my wobbly legs with my arms flailing about. Thanks to the help of the professionals I was with, by the end of the day I could at least control my arms. And I am happy to report my sore body is recovering just fine.
Here are a few more pictures of our fun day...unfortunately no action shots!
I am very thankful for my In-Laws' patience with me as I did my best to keep up.
Beware of the Bunny Hill, Jack!
